West End Centre – Hampshire

5th Feb 2014

It amazes me the things that are around the corner that you don’t find out about for years. I had not heard of this place until I was invited in for a coffee to look around.

The West End Centre hosts music, comedy, children’s activities, theatre, classes and exhibitions. It’s on Queens road in Alderhsot and has lots of parking and tons of space inside. They have everything from comedy nights with Russell Howard & Hal Cruttenden to knitting classes and live music.

I have been invited to run some children workshops this year and am pretty exited about them. The first one is a Decopatch workshop this Saturday 8th Feb but is fully booked I’m afraid.

Next up I’m  getting involved in the Children’s Festival over half term and Buttons will be hosting an Adventure Story session on the 19th Feb from 10.30-11.30am and then a craft session with fairy wing and pirate sword decorating on the 20th Feb at the same time. Both still have a few spaces so if you would like to book your little on in just call the box office on 01252 3300401.

And lastly on the 9th June I will be hosting one for the adults! Not the norm for me but I’m really looking forward to it. It will be part of the centres Monthly Makes sessions which are for adults from 7-9pm on a Monday night. The cost is £10 and includes a drink form the bar and all the materials. Bargain, and I’m going to be making lovely Bath Bombs.

If you would like to take a look at all the other fab things going on this is the website.
