Team Buttons – Stevie

12th Aug 2013

I am very pleased to be introducing Stevie on the Ellie Kelly blog today. Stevie was my first ever member of staff at Buttons! I am so lucky to have her as part of the team and it has been a joy to see her conference grow, her skills improve and to read all the fantastic feedback she gets from clients.

Hi everyone, This is a little bit about me and how I came to be party of the Buttons team.

I started work at 15 in a sports centre where I assisted children’s birthday parties. It was great fun as many of my colleagues were of a similar age to myself and became some of my best friends. Whilst working at the sports centre I also applied for a job assisting swimming lesson. I have always loved swimming and competed for a number of years. I went on to get my level one swimming teaching qualification which allowed me to take my own classes. I loved watching the children progress and seeing how some had developed a passion for the sport like I had.

In 2011 I started university studying History and sadly had to give up both jobs 🙁 But as one door closed another one opened! I started working for Buttons in March 2012 and I can safely say I have one of the best jobs EVER! I love seeing the children having fun and as an entertainer that is my main priority. No weekend is ever the same and that is one of the things I like the most. I have also started helping Ellie out in the office which I find very interesting. I now see a different side to the business and all the hard work that goes into growing it and ensuring all the parties go perfectly.

Below are just a few of the lovely emails I have received from clients about Stevie parties. For more you can pop over to out Kind Words page.

“Thank you so much – Stevie was fantastic, the kids had a ball and it really did give us time to take it easy as well! It was fantastic! I will definitely recommend buttons to friends!”

‘I just wanted to pass on my thanks to Stevie for all her hard work at Ava’s 5th Birthday.  She arrived on time, fully prepared and worked her socks off keeping 25 energetic children amused and totally transfixed at times!!!”
Lucy – March 2013

“Hi Ellie, Just a quick note to say a big thank-you for asking Stevie to some and entertain Neve and her friends last weekend. Stevie kept all the girls captivated for the entire time and we were able to take a bit of break and enjoy the day too! Great work, great service and many thanks – wouldn’t hesitate in recommending!”

Up next week is Sarah 🙂
