Good morning everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I have had parties for the last four days so today i’m catching up in the office, making my cake for cake club tonight and going to see a hall for a venue styling booking. I was all over the shop last week, on Thursday I was in Newbury, Friday Twickenham, Saturday I was in Engelfield Green and yesterday I was in Richmond and then back to Newbury. The Olympic road race did not effect my parties thank goodness, I did leave super early just in case but the roads were in fact nice and clear.
I am heading up to Anglesey in a few weeks for my birthday and was thinking about what we (me, my brother and our friends Georgi & Barns) would do for 6 weeks over summer to keep us busy and away from the TV. I don’t remember watching TV at all really, I’m sure we did hear and there, but mainly we played the whole time and apart from being on the beach or in the sea we spent ages making dens and play areas to act our adventures. Bliss, rewind me 15 years please.
God we loved den making when we were kids. Do your kids like making dens and little houses to play in? Sometime we would set an alarm for 6am and would meet in the field to go exploring for the next site.
As I was thinking about this I remembered a company I came across last year called Win Green. I sent off for there brochure as I loved what they did but I didn’t do anymore than that. Well I dug out the brochure last week and gave them a call. I really wanted to tell you all about them as I have a feeling you may like what they do just as much as I do.
They started in 2001 and specialise in creating a range of beautifully appliqued and embroidered playhouses. We both believe that children should be encouraged to explore their imaginations though play and I think there creations provide the perfect stage for this. Now we used to make dens with fern and hay bales but there is no way we would not have jumped at the change to play in one of these.
I would love to get all of these in a field and make a mini children’s village!
If you would like some more info on Win Green products and to see what else they do (this is only a small sample!) take a look at there site hear.
I hope you all have a lovely week planned. I keeping my fingers crossed for sun, sun and more sun.
Ellie
Howdy would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m going to
start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a difficult time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique.
P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to
ask!
Hi, I use WordPress 🙂
