Princess & Knights Party

It’s Monday again, last week whizzed by for me.

I had lots of great parties last week and met some lovely families. I think one of the reasons I love my job is that I get to see families all having fun, smiling, chatting with friends & relaxing. It’s a really nice thing to be part of.

I wanted to share one of my parties with you from the weekend.

I was booked by Andy (aka party dad) to entertain at his daughters 6th birthday and to theme the marquee that was going to be in the garden, dress the tables and provide party bags. The theme was Princesses & Knights.

I met Jenny (aka party mum) the week running up to the party when I went to look at the marquee and we had lots to talk about. Isabelle (aka Birthday girl) got a puppy for her birthday! After comparing notes lack of sleep, house training and how cute they were, we got down to business.

A marquee is an ideal setting for theming as it is quite literally a blank canvas. I love using the poles to hang decorations and material from. I decided the back wall would be the princess back drop and the tables could sit in front. With 10 Knights and 10 princess the table would be easy split in two.

The sun shone, the children were great fun and really got into the spirit of the party games and I even got a cuddle with the birthday girls puppy Harvey. So cute!

Below is the email I received after the party.

“I just wanted to say a huge thank you for putting on such a fantastic party for Isabelle’s birthday on Saturday!  The styling of the marquee was perfect and looked absolutely amazing.  Isabelle really enjoyed herself and all her friends had a brilliant time!  We had a bunch of worn out princesses and knights by the end of it!!

I will certainly be back in touch for the next one!  In the meantime I hope everything goes well for you and I will certainly have no hesitation in recommending you”
