Crispy Cake Snowballs

15th Dec 2012

Hello there!

I am Lucy and I live in the South West of England with my husband, 2 gorgeous boys and dogs Mabel and Moose. Capture by Lucy is my journey through motherhood armed with a lens, capturing the milestones and the magic moments in between, making the everyday extra special. My blog is my passion and my escape!

I am so happy to be guest posting for Ellie! (What you don’t know is the mastermind behind Buttons Parties is a childhood best friend of my Sister! I even have a photo of me and her brother holding hands at age 2!)

Here is an easy cake pop to make with the children that involves no baking!

Ingredients:

  • White chocolate
  • Rice crispys
  • Desiccated coconut
  • Cake decorating silver shimmer spray
  • Paper straws
  • Cling film

Method:

  • Mix together melted chocolate and rice crispys ensuring an even coating. Sprinkle in a handful of desiccated coconut.
  • Place a square of cling film in the palm of your hand and spoon some of the mix in. Shape into a ball. Stick your straw in the middle and scrunch the cling film around the straw.
  • Set in the fridge for a few hours.
  • When hard peel away the cling film and spray with shimmer spray for extra sparkle!

Thank you so much for having me, I am honoured!
