I’m a day late with this one so my apologies. I had a site visit at the National Trust site Hatchland Park yesterday (more to come) and then some styling for a Milkshake and Cupcake party this weekend. Before I knew it I was lying in bed in the dark informing Mr Kelly I hadn’t blogged.
So today in Eye spy…. I wanted to tell you about an afternoon tea event.
If I did not work weekends you would find me at Byfleet Manor on the 23rd June with a nice refreshing drink (I don’t like tea), enjoying a delicious afternoon tea in the gardens. I would be surrounded by lovely vintage furniture, games, magazine and live music.
I know this because my lovely friend Marie runs Tea Vintage and she is putting on this fantastic event with Byfleet Manor. You can pop over to the Tea Vintage Facebook page to see lots of photos from last weekends event. Marie has teamed up with Food With Aneke, Aneke is a Surrey based private cater who is creating the mouth watering yummies.
Marie LOVES all things vintage and has created her business to share her love of vintage finds, styling and tea with as many people as she can. Marie used to work as a set dresser in the film industry so you can expect to be transported back in time when you attend a Tea Vintage event.
Byfleet Manor is currently featuring in the popular ITV series Downton Abbey as the Dowager Violet’s house, so makes the perfect setting for an day out.
If you are interested in tickets for the event contact marie.teavintage@gmail.com or info@byfleetmanor.com as I have insider knowledge that there are only a few left.
