Farm Themed Party in Oxshott

No snow and no rain.  An old farmer must have been watching over us!

Yesterday Myself, Stevie and Laura Jane (I will introduce her properly to you soon) were in Oxshott for a Farm themed party. It was booked some time ago and I had been really looking forward to it, Gingham table covers, crates, hay bales, baskets of shiny apples and tractors. What’s not to love right!

Buttons themed the marquee, dressed the tables and provided the table ware, created the egg box party gifts, sourced the horse cake and provided the entertainment.

Thank goodness the marquee was heated and had a floor as the snow on Saturday was silly. The children started with pony grooming and rides in the garden from the Lovely Gemma from & Pony Magic and then it was over to us to warm them all up with lots of games and dancing. Party food was served and the face painting commenced. With a surprise arrival from Peppa the Pig and George, fun was had by all the children who were dancing away well in to the afternoon and defiantly not feeling the cold as much as all the grown up were.

The egg box party girls each had inside farm animal stickers, bubbles, strawberry sweets, a farm animal toy and a chocolate horse. Each child also took home a farm yard colouring in book.

We used lots of red to off set the barn yard doors that create a nice feature in the marquee and green plates with cow spotty napkins and red and blue paper straws. The tables had baskets of apples and a toy tractor to create a nice feature and the amazing cake was displayed with the egg boxes and wooden crates. Straw bales lines the marquee walls and made the perfect seats for face painting.
