Baby friendly holiday Isle of Wight

28th Apr 2017

We got back last night from a short Family holiday on the Isle of Wight to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary.

With two dogs, four adults and one baby it took quite a bit of searching to find the right place. I had to write about this place as the owners really put so much effort into make sure their guests have a lovely time.

Camellia Cottage was fantastic. A big enclosed garden, large rooms, fantastic quiet location, wooden cot for Neive, great local walks, pub just around the corner and tons of toys!

If you are looking for somewhere to go with a baby or children then this place really has everything. I took so much stuff we didn’t need as they provide it. Bubble bath, bath toys, tons of towels, baby monitor, bottles and sterilizing kit, nappy bags and wipes, high chair (that Neive loved to chill out in!), dog bowls, extra leads and a box of doggie biscuits.

And thats doesn’t even cover the stuff for us grown up humans. We had a fridge full of milk, strawberries and cream , melon, bread and jam (for the badger who came to see us every evening!), processo, beer, box of chocolates and mini Sanctuary body wash’s. The cottage also had lots of games and DVD’s and and xbox.

If you’re looking for a baby friendly UK holiday hire and finding it hard then this place is one to look at.
